Where is Historic London Town and Gardens, and when is it open?


Historic London Town and Gardens is at 839 Londontown Road, Edgewater, MD 21037. Hours Wednesday - Sunday, 10am - 4pm Gate closes at 4pm

  • Pre-registration is not needed for visiting London Town.
  • 30-minute outdoor walking tours of our historic area will be available at 11am and 2:30pm, weather permitting.




What can I do at London Town?


Lots! London Town includes 10 acres of woodland & ornamental gardens (including a Sound & Sensory Garden), a historic area featuring colonial buildings, a modern Visitor Center with a large exhibit, and beautiful views of the South River. Most visitors spend 90 minutes wandering the site. Plus, there are frequently special programs and events to enjoy. Learn more about planning your visit here.
